Beanz had worked with fellow Warner Chappellwriter Tatiana Mais also known as 'Q-Tee', producing one of hersongs and requested that she come in and rap over a song he hadwritten, called 'Sentence of Love'. Q-Tee believing that a malerapper was also needed, arrived at the studio with Jay Williams - astudent at the BRIT School For Performing Arts & Technology.Beanz had written this song at his West Hempstead studio inDecember 1993 where he had met Paul Hardy, who later sang the nowfamous chorus, 'In the morning, when the sun shines'. In February1994, Beanz took the rap parts and mixed them in with the newchorus track sung by Paul. He presented the song to his A&Rrep, Dave Ambrose at Planet 3 records, which was to be releasedlater that year, however Jonathan King heard it at BBC andrequested that the song be submitted for 'A Song for Europe' in1995.
